What schizoaffective disorder and what their symptoms.

Schizoaffective disorder - a serious mental illness characterized by symptoms of several diseases: schizophrenia and affective disorders as well as depression or bipolar psychosis.

Depressive symptoms

  • increased talkativeness and / or fast rate of speech;

  • low need for sleep;
  • excitement;
  • high self-esteem;
  • pathologically increased distractibility;
  • self-destructive or dangerous behavior (for example, increased costs, careless driving, unprotected sex).

Schizophrenic symptoms

  • delirium;
  • hallucinations;
  • scattered thinking;
  • strange or unusual behavior;
  • slow movement or total immobility;
  • lack of emotions (facial expressions and speech);
  • poor motivation;
  • problems with speech and communication.
